When you go outside or even look outside your window, make it a point to find something to smile at my lovelies. Even if it’s just a flower you’ve never noticed before in your garden, try and find some beauty in the world around you :)
This way we’ll soon learn to see that even in the darkest of times there’s always something beautiful in life to smile about, no matter how insignificant it may seem! Be positive and look beyond the obvious pain to find some hope to carry your forward!
I promise you my lovelies, life is most certainly worth living and although it might not seem like it, there are definitely definitely better times ahead if you just hang in there a little bit longer!
Stay strong and remember that you are AMAZING!!! ♥ xx
Now, everyone seems to say ‘You must talk about your problems!’ and this may be true, but really it can be the hardest thing in the world to do…
These problems are obviously those that have caused a horrible amount of pain and sadness and hurt, and with them will be memories that we want to erase from our minds completely… If they weren’t so bad, wouldn’t we have spoken about them straight away??
The thing is, no one can ever make someone talk about their problems just by asking them to. Opening up, requires confidence, trust and the ability to hold yourself together while talking - that can takes years to build.
Which is why I say it’s best to say ‘Are you okay?’ - It’s a sign of caring and an offer to help, but doesn’t put any pressure on someone to answer in great detail.
People open up about their problems at different stages of their life… Some may do it a day after the incident and others may never ever get the confidence to do it during their lifetime. But in any case, opening up and asking for help is NEVER a sign of weakness.
Remember to stay strong and love yourself my lovelies!! ♥ xx
