I think this is a really powerful image about how many of us see ourselves these days… It’s just so distorted!
It seems we’re never completely satisfied with who we are. When we get to where we want to be, we’re still wanting more… And when this comes to weight and beauty it can have disastrous consequences. So many girls are affected by anorexia and bulimia and there is absolutely no reason for it. You are all incredibly incredibly beautiful people! ♥ It’s time we started seeing ourselves clearly for who we really are - amazing and beautiful no matter what we look like :)
Love yourself and be proud of your body! If you’re healthy and well, accept yourself for who you are and flaunt what you have. If you’ve got to the stage where your weight makes you unhealthy, do whatever you can to get back to being healthy and be proud of yourself for achieveing that! Chubby does not IN ANY WAY mean ugly or unhealthy, and skinny does not always mean gorgeous and healthy my lovelies! Like anything out there, if it becomes too extreme it can have horrible health consequences in the future…
I promise you that someone out there thinks that you’re the most beautiful girl in the world :) Believe in yourself and be confident and happy with who you are!
Remember that you are all beautiful my lovelies! Stay strong and don’t let anyone get you down! ♥ xx

You are beautiful! ♥

My lovelies, do this every day when you wake up and every night before you go to bed…

Look at yourself in the mirror. What you see will bring to you a flood of thoughts - good and bad memories of yourself and your appearance. They may be your thoughts or things that others have said to you… If they’re bad thoughts, dismiss them and remember that you are beautiful ♥ :)

Beauty is not defnied by perfect figures and features. Beauty is defined by who you are - your personality, your mind, your strength and your heart. Think about it - there’s NO ONE else out of all the 6 billion people on the planet who will ever be the same as you! You are special, you are unique, you have your own entire life ahead of you, waiting to be discovered, waiting to lead you on to greatness!

Think about all that you have been through in life… The fact that you have survived the trials of life and are standing alive to carry on, shows that you have so much courage and determination! Remember this when you see yourself looking back at you in that mirror - remember that you are STRONG and that you will get through life, no matter what get’s thrown at you. You are amazing! So promise yourself to never let anyone else tell you differently!

Do this every day my lovelies to give you the confidence and self love that you deserve to feel! You are all so beautiful and amazing with so much to give in the future, and none of you ever deserve to feel any less wonderful than you really are!!

Stay strong my dearies! ♥ xx

Body image ♥

Now, it strikes me that a lot of young women these days are OBSSESSED with body image. I see it in my friends, on tumblr, on TV… It seems to dominate our culture. “I want to be skinnier”, “I want the perfect beach bod”…

With summer coming up, so many girls feel ashamed to go out and enjoy the sun because they don’t have the right body shape! It’s outrageous! Society’s idea of skinny beauty has been blown way out of proportion in the past few years sending many teenagers into a spiral of depression in a search to find ‘perfection’.

You are all incredibly beautiful whether you’re a size 6 or a size 16. End of. ♥ As long as your weight doesn’t cause any health risks why is there any reason to dislike yourself??? Why is there any reason to change?? Where are the rules that say large is ugly?? There aren’t any because it’s not true! Fight society and don’t give into pressure, lovelies :)

Walk out in your shorts and your biknis, hold you head high, smile and say to yourself -  ”I’m beautiful and no one can tell me any differently!”

Is it really better or even necessary to sacrifice and destroy a beautiful body through anorexia and bulimia to conform to society?? No, it’s not.

Don’t give yourself unnecessary trouble and illnesses because you feel under pressure to change yourself. Love yourself for who you are, be proud of you and your body and be confident. Because confidence is sexy, no matter how you look or weigh! ♥

So to all the girls out there - you are beautiful! Embrace it, enjoy and stay strong! ♥ xx
